Sorry you are feeling down, it is indeed a depressing song. I like that it covers the various sad and desperate lives of those in one little place. Well I guess I haven't done a good job at brightening your day now have I?

Indeed. I love this song, I just rediscovered it yesterday and I've been listening to day in and day out. I don't know. I would say the song isn't depressing, but sort of uplifting, in a sad sort of way. It touches everyone, everyone has probably been in one of the situations of the people in bar.
I don't know. It just makes me feel good :'). I want to animate a video to it one day.
